They confided that they felt "dirty" after their wandering and needed to take a step back.     In the mini-album"Take It Easy", all the ingredients are there: the rock energy of the origins, resourced with new pop, trip-hop, rap and electro inspirations. On top of that is a collaboration unexpected with Adam Clayton, legendary bassist of U2, who advised them throughout the mix and arrangements, as well as Gregory F. (Iggy Pop, Leron Thomas) who performed some of the bass and guitar lines. A fresh mini-album, a whirlwind full of ardor and lightness that delivers its messages with determination: "Take it easy, it's no big deal" in pure Kristel style!

Mafy Loha means stubborn in Malagasy. Kristel talks about the environmental situation, pollution, deforestation issue because this young generation is in a state of emergency planning their future for themselves and for the nation. You can feel the excitement, the menace and the pressure. A hybrid music where eclectic influences come together combining electric guitars, bass and synthesizer with a hardrock powerful rock tune like an ode to nature and to the land of the Big Island.
